Goodwill Industries of New Mexico is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a fast-paced retail team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise staff, train employees, and assist in daily store operations to ensure a successful store.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Three years of progressive retail experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle in NM.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive store image.
Train employees and assist in planning, coordinating, and directing daily store activities.
Open and close the store, safeguard the facility, and follow loss prevention procedures.
Prepare daily sales reports, deposits, and inventory controls; support scheduling and payroll records.
Supervise the sales floor, donation center, and cashier operations with accountability.
