Job summary

Goodwill Industries of New Mexico is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service while upholding the organization’s mission.

You will oversee staffing, training, loss prevention, merchandising, and budget administration, coordinate marketing efforts, and ensure compliance with CARF, HIPAA, and safety standards, while fostering an inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; five years of supervisory retail experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve sales goals.
• Strong customer service and staff development skills.
• Ability to coordinate promotions and visual merchandising.
• Knowledge of loss prevention and safety standards.
• HIPAA and CARF compliance knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to meet sales goals.
• Appraise and price inventory to maximize value.
• Lead staff training, scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Ensure clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
