Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves assisting with daily store functions, helping customers, and ensuring merchandise moves smoothly from delivery to floor.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable store. A high school diploma is preferred and prior store management experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as described in the job duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, deposits, and loss prevention activities.
• Assist in training and developing Store Associates and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.
