Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities and help customers with questions in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will oversee merchandise placement, transfers, and stockroom organization, while performing opening/closing tasks and ensuring safety and policy adherence. This role emphasizes leadership, training, and strong communication to foster a positive store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels to company standards.
