Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Lane & South Coast Counties & Alaska is seeking a Store Supervisor to support the Store Manager in daily operations. You will supervise sales staff, handle cash, and ensure excellent customer service to customers and donors.

The role requires leadership, training, and scheduling responsibilities, with duties including opening/closing, inventory upkeep, and adherence to safety and policy guidelines. Weekend/evening work is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background check and be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and written memos.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with store operations and supervise sales staff.
• Perform cashier duties and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and donors.
• Schedule and assign tasks to staff; train and coach employees.
• Open and close the store according to procedures.
• Maintain inventory and replenish merchandise.
• Address customer/donor complaints.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety procedures.
