Job summary

Kontoor Brands is seeking a Store Associate to uphold high retail standards and deliver an exceptional in-store experience in Michigan. You will engage customers, learn preferences, and guide purchases while promoting our rewards program and brand loyalty.

You will support visual merchandising, operate front-end processes, and collaborate with leadership to meet sales targets and maintain store standards. This role requires flexibility, weekend availability, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Retail or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
• This role requires a minimum availability of 30 hours per week including one weekend day and rotating holidays, additional availability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellence in customer service in the store by upholding high retail standards to ensure an in-store experience that aligns with company standards.
• Initiate conversations with all customers, building a relationship to learn interests and identify products to suggest.
• Assist customer in the fitting room.
• Recommends product that is aligned with customer needs and preferences through suggestive selling and encourages the customer to make a purchase.
• Builds brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and achieves weekly loyalty sign up goals.
• Learn about new products and trends to better engage customers.
• Consistently achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
• Provides information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.
