Job summary

Designer Brands in Michigan is seeking a capable Store Associate/Manager to support store leadership in delivering excellent customer service, merchandising, omni-channel activities and inventory control.

You will collaborate with the Store Manager on priorities, maintain store standards, participate in opening/closing duties, and help ensure policy compliance, asset protection, and smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays.
• Proficient with store technology used for customer interactions.
• Stand/walk up to 100% of shift and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and perform customer service, merchandising, omni activities and all inventory-related actions to drive sales and results.
• Partner with the management team to understand daily/weekly/monthly store priorities and assist in opening/closing the store.
• Maintain store standards and safety, and ensure policy compliance and asset protection.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding Store Associate candidates.
