The TJX Companies, Inc. in Kansas City is seeking a Manager on Duty to lead store operations and deliver a positive customer experience. You will supervise Associates, coach performance, and ensure adherence to store policies, labor laws, and safety standards.

You will respond to daily challenges with effective communication, prioritize tasks, and partner with management to address priorities and drive results in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience.
• Ability to coach, delegate, and follow up on multiple tasks.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive customer experience for internal and external guests.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and adheres to company policy and procedure.
• Provides coaching and feedback to Associates and monitors staffing needs.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures and labor policies are followed.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas.
