Job summary

Jackson Companies in Idaho seeks an Assistant Manager in Training (AIT) to gain practical experience across store operations. You will help drive sales, coach staff, control expenses, and oversee merchandising and inventory.

This full-time role involves shifts from early morning to late night as part of a district-wide program across Boise and Garden City. The program is designed to transition you into a managerial role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Open availability for 24/7 operation (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Proven leadership experience in food service or retail.
• At least 3 months of customer service in retail settings.
• Strong communication skills and friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous service and greet customers.
• Follow and enforce store policies with employees.
• Promote store specials and assist in merchandising.
• Ensure sanitation and food handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of store and pumps.
• Restock shelves and displays to prevent stockouts.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Manage food service and beverage programs to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Prepare deposits and assist in weekly ordering when needed.
• Respond to emergencies in manager's absence.
• Operate register and handle cashier duties as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
