Jacksons Food Stores in Boise, Idaho is hiring for an Assistant Manager in Training (AIT) program. This full-time role develops you for the Assistant Manager position by gaining hands-on experience in store operations, driving sales and profitability, coaching and developing your team, managing expenses, reducing losses, and overseeing merchandising and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Open availability to cover a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Previous leadership experience in food service or retail preferred.
• At least 3 months of customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, consistent customer service and greet customers.
• Follow and enforce company policies with employees.
• Promote store specials and suggest purchases.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling procedures.
• Keep store clean and stocked, including displays and coolers.
• Assist in training new employees and managing food service programs.
• Perform deposits, manage weekly orders, and assist in operations as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and operate register and equipment as required.
