The Fresh Market is seeking a Store Director to lead a 70-100 member team and shape store culture with passion, excellence, hospitality, and teamwork. You will guide decisions, ensure accountability, and deliver strong financial results while providing impeccable hospitality to guests each day.

You will communicate the why behind decisions, adapt leadership styles to your team, and develop future leaders in a collaborative environment.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hospitality, or general business.
• Demonstrated success overseeing multiple departments or store-wide operations.
• Strong financial acumen with proven success in achieving sales, margin, and labor goals.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability towork a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain afterhire.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsabilidades

• Build a strong talent pipeline by recruiting, developing, and retaining leaders and team members.
• Set clear expectations and coach leaders through regular feedback.
• Develop and execute store-wide strategies to increase sales and guest loyalty.
• Use data (P&L, KPIs, labor forecasts) to identify opportunities and drive action plans.
• Ensure effective labor planning and cost control for profitability.
• Model high standards for food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead store readiness for audits and inspections with accountability.
• Be the face of the store, delivering warm hospitality and personal attention.
• Coach leaders on guest recovery and proactive service to build loyalty.
• Engage with local organizations and community partners to deepen store connection.
