Carter's Inc. in Fairfax, VA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of our brand for growing families. You’ll welcome new parents and grandparents, introduce baby essentials, and help families prepare for school moments.

You will foster an inclusive environment, coach the team, and analyze store performance to drive KPIs, while building customer loyalty through programs and merchandising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles and benefits.
• Coaching to build a positive, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team.
• Plan merchandising, promotions, and product placement.
• Reduce loss through exceptional service and operational controls.
