Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lebanon, Tennessee to support the Store Manager in leading daily store operations. You will drive customer service, coaching, and merchandising standards while working to achieve sales targets and enhance partner development.

The role emphasizes community engagement, adaptability to business needs, and effective communication with district and store teams. A focus on leadership, training, and performance improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, provide coaching and feedback, and lead by example on the sales floor.
• Develop team members and implement training plans to improve store performance across operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on scheduling, hiring, policy updates, and communication with district/regional partners.
• Plan and execute volume-driving events and community outreach with Store Manager.
• Coach associates in customer engagement and loyalty program activities.
