Job summary

Boot Barn in Lebanon, TN seeks an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals. You will lead and coach the sales floor team, manage schedules, support hiring and training, and oversee inventory and merchandising to meet company standards.

The role requires collaboration with district leadership, focus on community outreach, loyalty programs, and upholding professionalism and operational excellence across the store.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2–4 years retail store management experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing direct reports.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service and selling culture and build customer relationships.
• Coach and review goals with team; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Develop training plans and grow team members toward career goals within Boot Barn.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on schedules, interviews, and policy updates.
• Assess local customer needs and execute community-focused events.
• Drive loyalty engagement and ensure adherence to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain stock levels, signage, and inventory controls; ensure timely product receipts.
• Support shrink reduction and inventory accuracy with store team.
• Maintain product knowledge across categories and train partners accordingly.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and comply with Time & Attendance policies.
• Adhere to laws, policies, and professional standards; demonstrate teamwork.
