Job summary

SecureSpace Self Storage in SeaTac, WA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support Store/Area leadership, drive sales, and oversee daily operations, vendor relations, and the customer experience. This role emphasizes teamwork, scheduling flexibility, and weekend work.

You will help monitor occupancy, maintain cleanliness, assist with lien/auction processes, and coordinate with our US-based success team for online move-ins. A $1,500 retention bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in storage, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong English communication in verbal and written form.
• Provides consistent support to Store Manager and acts as backup.
• Customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote unit rentals and drive sales to exceed targets.
• Guide new customers through the rental process.
• Coordinate with team to prepare units and move-ins.
• Assist with lien/auction paperwork and collections.
• Conduct daily property inspections for security and cleanliness.
• Perform light maintenance and gardening tasks.
• Travel to nearby locations as needed; weekend/holiday availability.
