Extra Space Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations at one or more locations. You will focus on building customer relationships, maintaining cleanliness, and driving a streamlined sales process.

Responsibilities include addressing billing and security concerns, performing site checks, and ensuring a high standard of service while promoting company culture. This role offers growth opportunities across the U.S. and a competitive starting pay.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer-facing work experience.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Current valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• High School diploma or GED is required; college education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
• Ensure our highest standards of cleanliness are met through maintenance of the site, including office and storage areas.
• Perform daily site safety inspections, including lock checks.
• Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, auctions, and proper site usage.
• Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, and daily bank deposits.
• Protect our company culture by maintaining professional relationships with all employees.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
