Job summary

SecureSpace Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and leadership team in achieving store goals. You will help drive sales, oversee customer service, and coordinate with district management while promoting a positive shopping experience for tenants.

Responsibilities include assisting with rentals, tenant communications, lien/auction paper processing, and daily property inspections. Flexible weekend work and growth opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in storage, retail, or hospitality.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in basic computer skills including MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Promote unit rentals and drive sales while supporting the team.
• Guide new customers through the rental process for smooth transactions.
• Reach out to potential clients to confirm moving dates and unit readiness.
• Manage accounts of past-due tenants and assist with lien/auction paperwork.
• Conduct daily property inspections to ensure security and cleanliness.
• Perform light maintenance and gardening tasks as needed.
