Job summary

Deckers Brands’ UGG division seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving store performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will develop team members, execute store strategies, and champion Deckers Brands values across daily operations.

You will be responsible for opening/closing, staff scheduling, training, inventory, and ensuring top-notch service while navigating competing priorities in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Two to four years minimum retail store management experience preferred.
• Associates Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to your team members and customers.
• Excellent project management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work through challenges.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to develop and engage team members and achieve budgeted goals.
• Align store activities with company interests, employees, and the local community.
• Open and close the store, secure assets, plan and prepare labor schedule.
• Maintain training standards and motivate the team to drive productivity.
• Address customer and team member needs and respond to issues promptly.
