Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Durham, NC. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while mentoring a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

As the heart of the brand, you will ensure visual standards, staffing, and procedures are followed, helping to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere for both customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting with follow-up.
• Administer disciplinary steps as needed in the manager's absence.
• Foster a fun, productive team environment aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards including dress code and store policies.
• Schedule and staff the store, handling peak times when needed.
• Recruit and train staff on store operations and procedures.
• Enforce policies to protect company assets and inventory.
• Support KPIs, sales targets, and exceptional customer service.
