Urban Outfitters in Bloomington, MN seeks an Assistant Manager to support service, visuals and store operations, fostering an owner-like mindset and growth. You will partner with key teams to deliver an engaging store environment.

You will lead floor service, onboarding, and recruiting efforts, ensure omni-channel experiences, maintain product presentation, and uphold safety and inventory standards while driving customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years store leadership experience.
• Strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results.
• Proven record of developing great talent.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
• Passion for Urban Outfitters brand (UO).

Responsibilities

• Drives a service culture with engaging, efficient interactions and uses customer feedback to improve experiences.
• Partners with Visual Merchandising Manager to create engaging visuals that appeal to customers.
• Delivers a seamless omni-channel shopping experience using MPOS, POS, and curbside pickup.
• Leads floor service as the main communication hub to motivate the team and meet store objectives.
• Onboards new hires and provides timely, specific feedback to foster development and accountability.
• Supports Store Manager in recruiting and retaining a diverse, engaged team.
• Assists with daily opening/closing procedures and other operational tasks.
• Ensures shipments, restocking and product placement meet visual standards and inventory accuracy.
• Upholds safety standards and company policies to protect profitability.
• Shares product knowledge and brand messaging with the team.
