Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (West Elm) is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to support store leadership in delivering World-Class service and achieving sales goals.

You will model customer relationship-building and maintain store presence to ensure appropriate staffing and coverage across all areas of the store. Responsibilities include leading the team on customer experiences, coaching on service principles, and using training resources to boost product knowledge and selling skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of retail sales experience or management experience in a customer service related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to create an exceptional customer experience and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed and serve as a role model for sales associates in sales generation and service.
• Coach staff on customer service principles and reinforce successes and challenges.
• Educate the team on product knowledge, selling skills, and business goals using Selling Essentials and training resources.
• Foster a positive environment where associates are treated fairly per the People-First Philosophy.
• Ensure timely resolution of client service issues including delivery/pick-up through client information reporting.
