Job summary

Kate Spade New York is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to partner with the Store Leader to maximize store productivity and profitability through leadership, coaching, and operating excellence. You will set the tone on the sales floor, elevate service through omni-channel and virtual selling, and create an inclusive environment where associates can thrive as their authentic selves.

The role focuses on clienteling, data-driven decision making, talent development, and driving business plans

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience.
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and retail systems.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Model service behaviors and lead a client-focused environment.
• Manage omni-channel and virtual selling; clienteling and loyalty programs.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop talent; coach underperformance.
• Own store sales plans, forecasts, and KPI coaching.
• Oversee opening/closing, payroll budgets, and loss prevention standards.
• Ensure brand standards and visual directives; communicate feedback to improve results.
