Job summary

Kate Spade New York is seeking an Assistant Store Leader in the United States to partner with the Store Leader to maximize store productivity and profitability through leadership, coaching, and operational excellence. You set the tone on the sales floor and elevate service through omni-channel and virtual selling.

You will recruit and develop a diverse team, review KPIs, and act as Store Leader in their absence, fostering an inclusive, high-energy culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience (fashion/lifestyle or similar).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; familiar with retail systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-energy, client-focused environment and drive omni-channel service.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage performance; set KPIs.
• Own store sales plans and forecasts; analyze market data.
• Maintain Kate Spade aesthetics and visual standards across the store.
• Oversee opening/closing, cash handling, scheduling, payroll budgets.
