Kimbrell’s Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily store operations, credit functions, and team performance. You will drive operational excellence, ensure credit compliance, develop team members, and deliver a high standard of customer service.

This role emphasizes accountability, professionalism, and a positive, results-driven culture, guiding staff to meet sales targets while maintaining showroom presentation and strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in retail or related field.
• Bilingual English-Spanish may be a plus depending store staffing needs.
• Experience with sales, customer service, and/or credit or collections processes.
• Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate company vehicles when required.

Responsibilities

• Support store operations and ensure adherence to policies and performance expectations.
• Lead and develop team to achieve sales, service, and operational goals.
• Provide feedback and assist with employee relations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Supervise store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
