Job summary

Kimbrell’s Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, credit compliance, and team performance. You will drive operational excellence, develop staff, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining store standards and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail or equivalent environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on quality experience.
• Knowledge of credit/collections processes and cash handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coach and develop staff.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and performance expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to meet sales, service, and operational goals.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with employee relations as needed.
• Supervise store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience through professional service and merchandising support.
• Oversee showroom organization, product placement, and clean, sales-ready displays.
• Drive sales growth through customer engagement and promotional support.
• Oversee credit and collection processes in line with policies.
