Kimbrell’s Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, credit functions, and team performance. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, ensuring credit compliance, developing associates, and delivering a high standard of customer service.

You will lead by example in accountability and professionalism, maintaining a positive, results-driven store environment and guiding the team to meet goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience considered.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in retail preferred.
• Experience with sales, customer service, and credit/collections is desirable.
• Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records.
• Bilingual English-Spanish ability may be a plus depending on store staffing.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in daily store operations and performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop team to hit sales and service goals.
• Provide performance feedback and handle employee relations as needed.
• Oversee credit and collection processes in line with policy and laws.
• Maintain high-quality customer experience through service and merchandising.
• Assist with showroom organization, product placement, and displays.
• Drive sales through engagement, promotions, and community involvement.
• Ensure proper cash handling, deposits, and recordkeeping.
