Kimbrell’s Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, credit handling, and team performance. You will drive customer service excellence, coaching, and showrooms presentation to maintain a high-performing store environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining financial controls, and delivering results while ensuring compliance with company policies. The role requires leadership and a focus on customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in retail preferred.
• Experience with sales, customer service, and/or credit or collections processes preferred.
• Ability to handle cash, perform basic financial transactions, and maintain accurate records.
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) ability may be a plus based on store staffing needs.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store operations and ensure adherence to policies and performance expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to meet goals in sales and service.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with employee relations as needed.
• Supervise store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience through service and merchandising.
