Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead all store operations, drive sales and KPI performance, and mentor a diverse team.

You will ensure brand promises are delivered, SOPs followed, and inventory is well managed, while training and coaching staff to achieve results. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of retail leadership, 2+ years supervising teams, and a proven track record in customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, including specialized knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and customer service excellence.
• 2+ years of experience directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, including adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Deliver sales plan/profit plan and other KPIs in conjunction with annual objectives; manage the store team to achieve their role KPIs.
• Lead the execution of our customer brand promises.
• Implement and lead shrink and safety programs to deliver goals.
• Use company tools to set, prioritize and communicate goals and provide overall management to team members and customers.
• Staff the store with qualified Team Members: Hire, train, observe and coach the team to achieve results; lead performance management and talent development.
• Interact with others respectfully; promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; be a role model.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Maintain Operational understanding of all store departments; cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
