Burlington Stores in Morehead City, NC is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a multi-million-dollar retail operation. You will mentor a team, drive sales, manage merchandising, operations and service, and partner with district leadership to deliver a world-class shopping experience.

The role requires a proven leadership background, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience in a big box or specialty environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with inventory, merchandising, and budgeting.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of store team to implement policies and initiatives.
• Oversee merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing.
• Review receiving, transfers, RTVs, and chargebacks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Lead as Manager on Duty and maintain Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and budget reporting.
• Recruit, onboard, and coach associates; provide ongoing development.
