Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure policy adherence.
• Ensure team members fulfill their responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing with Merchandising.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits, RTVs and chargebacks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example following Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets.
• Recruit and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Facilitate onboarding, coaching, and development for all team members.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budget management and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication among store, district, regional teams and other partners.
