Job summary

Ross Stores is hiring a Store Manager in Dallas to lead the full spectrum of store operations, drive sales, and uphold company standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role entails supervising and coaching associates, managing payroll and scheduling, ensuring merchandising guidelines are followed, and maintaining a safe, customer-focused store atmosphere with strong loss prevention discipline.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches while working.
• Analyzes Store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and overall Store performance.
• Addresses variance to Company standards with action plans with District Manager input.
• Ensures proper scheduling of Associates to meet objectives.
• Responsible for payroll administration including daily punch edits and scheduling compliance.
• Recruits, hires, trains and develops Assistant Managers and Supervisors.
• Manages Associate relations and compliance with regulations.
• Maintains safety policies and prepares for emergency procedures.
• Delivers professional customer service at registers and service desks.
