Staples in the United States is seeking Assistant Managers to drive sales, services and customer engagement in the store and ensure the store is ready for business. You and your team will build customer relationships and provide total solutions to meet needs.

Lead a high-performing team, coach staff, manage merchandising and store operations, and execute plans to achieve sales goals while upholding Staples values and a positive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing a sales team in a retail or services industry.
• Experience coaching a team in a customer-centric, solutions-based environment.
• Ability to engage customers, understand their needs and drive sales.
• Strong communication, organization, and planning to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to meet goals, manage conflicts constructively and maintain integrity.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and lift/move materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership in community, customer service, sales and team development.
• Develop a high-performing team focused on an exceptional store experience and consultative selling.
• Coach, train and role play to deliver results and drive conversions.
• Attain sales and services goals, profit margin and execute store operations.
• Establish business cadence for sales readiness and guide merchandising opportunities.
• Share responsibility for total store operations and cost control; act as Floor Leader.
