Qualifications

• 2+ years leading a sales team in retail or services.
• Experience coaching a team in a customer-centric, solutions-based environment.
• Ability to engage customers and understand their needs.

• Ability to resolve conflict professionally and cooperatively.
• Honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Capable of working in a high-paced, sometimes stressful setting.
• Physical ability to lift 10–50 pounds and move materials as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership in community, customer service, sales and team development.
• Develop a high-performing team focused on exceptional store experience and consultative selling.
• Coach and train the team, including role playing, to deliver results.
• Achieve sales and services goals, margins and store operations execution.
• Set the business cadence for sales readiness and merchandising opportunities.
• Delegate operational tasks with the GM and share responsibility for store operations and cost control.
• Champion Staples initiatives and adapt to changes and responsibilities.
