Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead staff, drive sales, and safeguard product quality and safety across store operations. You will manage inventory, scheduling, training, and customer engagement to meet company standards and profitability targets.

Responsibilities include coaching partners, analyzing budgets, optimizing merchandising, and ensuring compliance with safety, alcohol, tobacco, and cash-handling policies.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HIPAA certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.
• AML certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and develop partners; plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; manage discipline as needed.
• Review historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions; manage inventory to keep in-stock levels.
• Monitor financials (P&L, sales, shrink, labor) and report to upper management.
• Direct store operations and manage expenses to maximize cash flow, EBITDA, sales, and profit.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards; rotate dated products.
• Lead by example to provide excellent customer service and uphold engagement standards.
• Communicate with Category Managers on product delivery and store impact.
• Perform store inspections and maintain company standards; ensure cleanliness and safety.
