Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a Store Manager for West Elm to lead daily operations, drive sales, and meet payroll goals in partnership with the General Manager.

You will recruit, interview and hire talent, train and develop associates, supervise scheduling and floor coverage, manage inventory and cash controls, and ensure an exceptional customer experience aligned with World Class Service standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of management experience in specialty/retail.
• Proven ability to manage staff to meet and exceed goals.
• Proven ability to recruit, interview and select qualified candidates.
• Strong communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain store standards and safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and payroll goals in partnership with the GM.
• Schedule planning and daily agendas to meet business goals.
• Recruit, interview and hire qualified candidates.
• Train and motivate associates in sales and product knowledge.
• Develop associates to assume increased responsibility.
• Maintain store standards, safety, and customer experience.
• Control inventory, POS operations, and cash handling to minimize losses.
