Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead a Gap store team in Charlotte, NC, driving profitability and achieving key metrics. You will align brand vision with in-store execution across Customer Operations, Merchandising, Product Operations, and talent development.

You will coach the team on exceptional customer experience, oversee forecasting, scheduling, and budget, and ensure compliance with SOPs while promoting community involvement and a frictionless Omni-channel experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail experience leading others.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results and communicate effectively with customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Analyze results, identify opportunities, and drive KPIs with leadership collaboration.
• Drive profitable sales through forecasting and scheduling.
• Manage store budget for daily operations to support the P&L.
• Build and develop a high-performing team through sourcing and coaching.
• Coach and provide feedback to improve team performance.
• Teach and train to build capabilities across store operations.
• Lead implementation of SOPs and brand initiatives.
• Create an inclusive, high-performing store culture.
• Maximize efficiencies and productivity through action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and represent the brand.
• Foster community involvement and leverage OMNI for a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
