Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and interpret diagrams, rules, manuals and procedures.
• Perform basic calculations and percentages for budgeting.
• Handle cash, deposits and cashier accountability procedures.
• Operate IBM cash register to generate reports.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, pricing and stock levels.
• Communicate clearly; work with teams and store staff.
• Recruit, interview, hire and counsel employees per policy.
• Follow cash, facility and safety control policies.
• Stay organized and detail-focused; solve problems as they arise.
• Spanish language skills preferred at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing.
• Train staff, conduct performance reviews and address gaps.
• Recommend pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance, safety and policy expectations regularly.
• Ensure the store is staffed and opened/closed consistently.
• Analyze operating statements for trends, profitability and shrink.
• Meet or exceed in-stock targets; manage ordering and cycle counts.
• Staging, stocking and storage of merchandise per company processes.
• Maintain merchandising presentation, pricing and signage.
• Safeguard inventory, cash handling and security controls.
• Provide strong customer service leadership; maintain clean, safe store.
