Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations, including hiring, training, merchandising, inventory control and customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring daily execution of company standards and safety protocols in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive sales and staff development across shifts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
Experience leading a team, staffing, scheduling and coaching employees to meet store goals.

Responsibilities

Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
Provide training, performance evaluations, and coaching; address gaps and apply corrective actions.
Ensure compliant cash handling and safety practices while maintaining inventory integrity.
Open and close the store with proper procedures and oversee daily operations.
Drive sales through merchandising, pricing accuracy and customer service excellence.
