Job summary

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register and scanner to itemize the customer's purchase.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, safety meetings, and ensuring policy compliance.
• Follow work processes to manage merchandise: receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking and building displays.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and control of damages, markdowns, scans, and paperwork.
• Assist in planogram implementation and merchandise presentation.
• Assist in financial integrity through cashier accountability, refunds, overrides, tills, and deposits.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
