Portland Leather Goods is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop a high-performing retail team in Somerville, MA. You will drive exceptional customer experiences, manage merchandising, and guide staff through daily operations to achieve sales goals.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and planning skills with flexibility to work weekends and peak seasons. You will report to the District Manager and uphold our customer-first ethos across our physical store and eCommerce

Formación

• High school diploma or higher.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail, store operations, and customer experience.
• Possesses a true passion for customer success.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills; must excel at providing direction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and time/project management skills.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet customer needs with a short turnaround.
• Ability to move merchandise with appropriate equipment to and from backroom and sales floor.
• Ability to place and arrange items on all shelves and racks.
• Ability to climb and descend ladders while carrying merchandise.

• Ensure accurate inventory management and achieve shrinkage goals.
• Identify, organize and execute partnership and events furthering the goals of store customer acquisition goals.
