Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead front-line customer service across our Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, and Cash Store brands.

You will drive service excellence, supervise store operations, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced retail environment. You will educate customers on product options, manage cash handling, and collaborate with district leadership to resolve issues while upholding our core values of accountability and transparency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid license and insurance.
• Ability to embrace core values of accountable, inclusive, transparent, and focused.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on product options meeting their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager and district/corporate when needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle general questions or applications.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally, explaining solutions and ensuring customers feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle cash, balance drawer, and manage bank deposits as needed.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per policy.
• Comply with regulations and company policies; complete compliance trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
