Lids Sports Group, the leading licensed sports retailer, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Ventura, CA area. This role focuses on driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading store operations with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities include managing daily store operations, staffing, training, and ensuring adherence to brand standards. The position offers growth opportunities and a dynamic retail environment with strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs and regular follow up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline with verbal and written warnings when the Store Manager is absent.
• Engage team members to create a fun and productive environment and align with company objectives.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Open and close the store following Operations guidelines.
