Job summary

The Children’s Place in Lagrange, Georgia is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by handling cash-wrap operations, opening/closing duties, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD). You will represent the brand, engage customers, maintain store standards, and support teamwork and employee development.

Responsibilities include coaching, addressing performance, payroll processing, and driving store profitability while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and develop associates through feedback.
• Proficient in MS Office and internal store applications.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through coaching and on-the-job training.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns.
• Support training and development initiatives across the store.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Assess daily performance and contribute to annual appraisals.
• Motivate associates to build brand loyalty and service standards.
• Model exceptional customer service and uphold store standards.
• Represent the company professionally and drive store profitability.
• Participate in Leader on Duty program and manage payroll weekly.
• Modify schedules based on business needs and seasonality.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and ensure safety CRE standards.
