Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Chesapeake, VA to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will drive sales, train associates, and ensure merchandise, cash handling, and safety procedures are followed.

As a pivotal team member, you will supervise staff, maintain store standards, and support the Store Manager in achieving performance goals while creating a fun, inclusive environment for customers and employees alike.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while reducing shrink.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute selling strategies to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Resolve customer issues in real time and ensure a high level of service.
• Open, close, and manage cash and store operations per procedures.
• Schedule, train, and develop store associates; recruit as needed.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the store clean and welcoming.
• Protect company assets and manage inventory through accurate counts and transfers.
