Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Virginia Beach to lead daily store operations, supervise staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining store standards, and promoting Lids’ products and services through strong team leadership.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and execution of merchandising strategies while ensuring a positive and inclusive shopping environment for customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Experience leading retail teams and delivering strong customer service.
• Ability to train and develop store staff and manage schedules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty when Store Manager unavailable and handle scheduling.
• Lead selling strategy to meet KPIs and sales targets while delivering exceptional service.
• Maintain store standards, merchandising, cleanliness, and visual guidelines.
• Manage inventory, backroom organization, price changes, and product counts.
• Open/close store procedures, cash handling, and prepare for inventory audits.
