Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. in Texarkana is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to act as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store. You will uphold the company’s values, deliver excellent customer service, and promote regulatory compliance across the store.

In this role you will educate customers on product options, handle transactions, manage cash, resolve issues, and support daily operations while meeting sales and service targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate office if unresolved.
• Answer telephone inquiries related to general questions, applications, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Handle and count currency and manage cash drawer, deposits, and other cash handling tasks.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend per company policy.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and Company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and quarterly I Agree timely.
