Job summary

South Moon Under in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Store Leader to build and manage a high-performing team of customer-facing Stylists in a dynamic retail environment.

The role drives store performance, delivers best-in-class service, and creates a positive, engaging culture that supports the brand. You will hire, train, and coach staff while ensuring visual standards and operations align with company directives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years retail management experience in a specialty retail environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and POS systems.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer service levels are maintained and exceeded by the team.
• Create a selling environment focused on a seamless end-to-end experience.
• Emulate brand aesthetics with a strong fashion attitude.
• Assess personalized service by Stylists and tailor experiences for customers.
• Resolve customer feedback and address issues in the moment.
• Manage store hiring strategy, planning needs, turnover, and leaves of absence.
• Engage the team with recognition, ongoing check-ins, and career development.
• Lead ongoing training strategy for non-keyholders and new programs.
• Handle time off requests, shift swaps, availability, timecards, and records.
• Maintain retail standards and store cleanliness; manage policies and safety.
• Collaborate across store channels and with Areas using company tech.
