Job summary

South Moon Under in Reston, VA is seeking an Assistant Store Leader (Manager) to partner with the Store Leader, inspire the team, and deliver best-in-class service. You will drive selling stories, coach Stylists, and uphold brand standards to create memorable customer experiences.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma (associate preferred), 1+ year retail management, and flexibility for non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years in management-level position in a specialty retail environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and POS systems.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Leader in managing all aspects of the retail business and use data to inform decisions.
• Build positive relationships with peers and maintain team morale.
• Coach and develop the team, ensure retail standards and store cleanliness.
• Support hiring strategy, recruiting, interviewing, and scheduling.
• Lead performance management with feedback and documentation.
• Collaborate to provide superior customer service and smooth store operations.
