Job summary

The Children’s Place in Columbus, Georgia is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by completing cash-wrap operations, opening and closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD). The Store Lead will represent the brand, operate in a professional manner, engage customers, maintain store standards, and support teamwork and employee development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership with cash-wrap operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Act as Leader on Duty and uphold brand standards.
• Engage customers and support teamwork and development.
• Coach associates with in-the-moment feedback and performance reviews.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stockroom organization, and safety standards.
• Drive store profitability through effective scheduling and payroll.
• Modify schedules based on business needs and peak times.
• Represent The Children's Place professionally to customers and associates.
