Job summary

The Children's Place is seeking a Store Lead in Auburn Hills, MI to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and Leader on Duty responsibilities. The role focuses on representing the brand professionally and delivering excellent customer experiences.

You'll develop talent, coach associates, and help maintain store standards while driving teamwork and store profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Act as Leader on Duty (LOD) and represent the brand professionally.
• Develop talent through training and in-the-moment coaching of associates.
• Address performance concerns with associates with the Store Manager.
• Support training and development initiatives across the company.
• Maintain a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Drive store profitability through customer service and operational excellence.
• Process payroll weekly and modify schedules as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and ensure CRE safety standards.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
